Biography:

Lina Ghvinianidze has received BA degree in Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2008). In addition, she is a master of Ohio Northern University Law School in democratic governance and rule of law (2011). In 2008-2010 Lina Ghvinianidze has worked in Georgia’s Young Lawyers’ Association as a lawyer on the issues of transparency, accountability and anticorruption, and in 2011-2013 on the position of a parliamentary secretary of GYLA. From 2013 till today she directs Social Rights Program at Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC).

Publications:

Lina Ghvinianidze is author of dozen researches and reports, which comes to transparency, accountability, combating corruption issues, as well as, the rights of persons with disabilities, labor rights and freedom of religion.
