Tinatin Japaridze

Research Interests: Development aid in Developing countries; Dynamics and colonial relations between grant-making organizations and NGOs. Issues of Organizational development and sustainability in aid recipient countries.

Biography: 

In 1996-2001 Tinatin studied at the Tbilisi State Pedagogical University on Oriental Studies department (Diploma in Oriental Studies (Farsi and Georgian). In 2000-2001 she studied at the University of Tehran, Dehkhoda International Institute of Persian Studies (Tehran, Iran) and was awarded certificate in Persian Studies.

In 2011-2012 she studies at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Hague, The Netherlands) and was awarded Master of Arts in Development Studies; specialization: Women, Gender, Development.

During 2006-2009 worked as a Programme Officer at the Inclusive Foundation, Tbilisi, Georgia. During 2010-2013 worked as Programme officer and later Programme Manager at the  Women’s Initiatives Supporting Group (WISG), Tbilisi, Georgia.
