Khayyam Namazov, a Ph.D. student at Humboldt University Berlin (HU), examines social movements in Azerbaijan, utilizing Foucauldian discourse analysis and genealogy of power. He holds double master's degrees in social sciences from Middle East Technical University (Ankara) and HU Berlin. As a co-founder of MIL Network, a Baku-based civil society organization that deals with civic education, and a board member of different CSOs, he has worked as a trainer and educator in social projects concerning human rights, democracy, youth activism, and gender.
