Research Interests: Georgian Culture, Historical Ethnology of Georgia, Svaneti Traditional Culture, Religion Anthropology, Traditional Everyday Life and Culture of Georgians of Turkey, Contemporary Ethno-Cultural and Socio-Cultural Processes.

Biography:   

Rozeta Gujejiani graduated from the faculty of history at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) in 1994. She did her Post-graduate studies in Ethnology between 1994-1997 at TSU. She was awarded her PhD degree in History in 2005.

Between 1994-2006 Rozeta held a position of  Research Fellow at the G. Chitaia Ethnographic Museum. Between 2005-2012 she was  working at the Georgian National Museum at the position of Coordinator. At the same time, she was a Senior Research Fellow at TSU,  at the Institute of History and Ethnology.

Since 2012, Rozeta helds a position of Associate Professor at Ivane Javakhisvhili Tbilisi State University.
