Lela has been working as a human rights lawyer since 2014, with a primary focus on advancing social rights and shaping social policy in Georgia. Throughout her career, Lela has collaborated with various organizations to advocate for the rights of socially vulnerable groups and to monitor and enforce social rights standards.
As an independent researcher, Lela brings valuable experience from her collaborations with both local and international organizations. Her primary role involves the preparation of analytical documents, including studies, reports, and evaluations that assess the current state of human rights protection and the effectiveness of mechanisms responsible for social policy.
Lela has been working a strategic litigation lawyer since 2015 and has experience in strategic proceedings in national courts in the field of social rights. Since 2021, Lela has been a national consultant of the Council of Europe in the field of social rights.
