Bachana has graduated from the Tbilisi State University, faculty of Philosophy and Sociology in 1997. He also studied at the Western Languages and Cultures University and specialized in French language. Since 1998, he continued his studies in France. He is an author of collections of poems: "Grey Universe" (1992) and "Drunk Moon" (1996). He was a delegate of UNESCO 32rd General Conference; is a chess player with international classification (ELO 2243). Since 2011, he works at the library of Decartes University, Paris. in 2015, publishing house Intellect (Georgia) has printed collection of translations by Bachana Chabradze "French Chanson".
