Gagik Zhamharyan graduated from Vanadzor State Pedagogical Institute (now Vanadzor State University) in 2002. In 2014 he defended the thesis on the topic “Party everyday life of Soviet Armenia in the context of socio-economic and socio-political realities of the 1920s-30s”. He is a candidate of historical sciences. Since 2016 he has worked as a researcher at the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences. Gagik’s scientific interests include social history, history and historiography of Soviet everyday life.  Currently he works as a History teacher at Zorik Gevorgian Foundation College.
