Biography:
For the last 12 years Eka has worked at various international and local organizations on projects focusing on community development initiatives in various regions of Georgia. In 2012-2013 Eka managed the Integrated Environmental Management Department at the Ministry of Environment Protection of Georgia and participated in Georgia-EU Association agreement waste-management chapter negotiations. Since 2014 Eka works at the East-West Management Institute’s Advancing CSO Capacities and Engaging Society for Sustainability (ACCESS) project and supports sustainability and capacity building of local civil society organizations for them to more actively and proactively interact and cooperate with citizens. Eka is a member of Independent Group of Feminists [of Georgia] and is a co-host of the radio program “Feministream”.
