Women and the World War II
Heinrich Boell Foundation started to impolement small research grant project - “Women and World War II” in the beginning of 2020. It aimed to give an opportunity to young researchers to write academic articles about women’s roles and experiences during and after the World War II. Within the framework of the project, six researchers were chosen from Armenia and Georgia. These articles are about different topics: gender, war-time correspondence and private archives, the repression of women, interconnection between gender, ideology and propaganda and others. The academic articles emphasize the importance of researching and analyzing the gender experiences of war.
